(Sympathy For) Lady Vengeance (Chin-jeol-han Geum-ja-ssi) (2005)

The third installment of director Park Chan-wook's revenge trilogy. While his technique is solid throughout all three films, it's his storytelling that improves with each chapter. Subsequent films reveal the plot layer by layer, but in Lady Vengeance, all the layers work together to create one cohesive story.

Acting is great. Characterization and pacing are well executed. As in the previous two films, the viewer will have to wait until the end for the real blood and guts. I'm glad I took the time to see these three films.
