Best Foreign Picture nominee from
Chile. Relates the events surrounding the 1988 campaign to end Pinochet’s
dictatorship. Interesting decision to go with a retro filming style to fit with
the era in the film. It felt like more of a straightforward documentary than a
historical drama. More factual than entertaining.
