A Japanese film about four abandoned children trying to fend for themselves while their deadbeat mom is AWOL. I thought they did a pretty good job of depicting everyday Japanese life, and how things can slowly spiral out of control. The film is based on a true story, which is actually much darker. Some quality acting by the actors playing the 4 kids.
