A French documentary about the people who pick or glean through society’s discarded items, and how they make use of them. I found the segments about art less interesting than the ones about food. The lady sometimes rambles off track about her hands or cats. In fact, in the bonus feature, Two Years Later, Alain, one of the main subjects of her first film, is interviewed giving the same critique. Certainly worth viewing for a glimpse at French culture that we Americans rarely see.
