The Singles Ward (2002)

One of a growing number of mainstream "LDS" films being released. Others would include God's Army, Brigham City, and The RM. The truth is, if you aren't a Mormon, I don't see how watching any of these, except for maybe Brigham City, would be enjoyable.

Despite a very high cheese factor, I still liked the movie. I got many of the inside jokes and recognized most of the countless cameos by famous Mormons like Danny Ainge, Steve Young, and Julie from The Real World, to name a few. Sure, many of the jokes fell flat, but most were amusing or even quite funny. Tons of DVD extras worth checking out.
