This American version stayed surprisingly close to the Norwegian original, yet I still preferred the Norwegian one more.

Sicario: Day Of The Soldado (2018)

A sequel that doesn’t have much to do with the original except for some key returning characters. It’s not bad for what it is. Pace is steady and violence is pervasive.

The Year Of The Dog (2007)

Felt as if I chased some sleeping pills with a shot of Nyquil. The laughs are few and far between. Slow plot, sad people, and stupid pets.

How I Live Now (2013)

So glad I got to watch this without knowing anything at all going in. I won’t ruin anything for you in case this is the first review you’ve come across. Read nothing else. Just watch it.
