I laughed hard and often. The two banjo playing, gay neighbors are a hoot. Loved the customer comment cards.

Bullet Train (2022)

 

A shoot-em up firing mostly blanks. Implausible doesn’t even begin to describe it. The flash and bang will hold your attention, but ultimately you’ll end up wishing you had gotten off at the first stop.

The Meg (2018)

China left no doubt who was financing this film. A lot of people die via shark, then the shark dies. About what you'd expect.

Get Smart (2008)

Not as bad as I thought it would be. My expectations were low since I was watching on a 15 ½ hour flight to Hong Kong. Less goofy than the original show, which I was glad for. Much of the humor comes courtesy of a great supporting cast. Unravels towards the end when all reality is thrown out the window.

Friends With Benefits (2011)

Funny, smartly written, and well cast. Plenty of eye candy for both sexes in JT and Mila. Woody and Patricia Clarkson provided additional comic relief. Exactly what I hoped it would be. No regrets seeing it in the theater.
