Every now and then it's good to cleanse your movie pallet with a pure,
unadulterated indie movie like this one. Where characters slowly
reveal themselves, as does the story. Plot devices, false climaxes,
and other tricks of the trade are nowhere to be seen.
You may feel a little nervous at the beginning, wondering if you've
gotten yourself into a boring sand-trap; but that quickly passes.
Instead of dwelling on the slowness of the film, you find yourself
wishing it would slow down even more so you could enjoy it longer.
Northfork was supposed to be like that... it so wasn't.
Fine acting all around. Well made by Campbell Scott. A pleasure to watch.
