Great cast, terrible script. Rachel Drach should not be writing comedy. There were a few giggles here and there, but odds are it was improvised. Was this thing straight to video? It should have been.

Ralph Breaks The Internet (2018)

Creative and fun when it’s being creative and fun. More overbearing than the first in parts. The Disney princesses were a nice touch.

No real surprises, but enough laughs to hold your attention.

A Mighty Wind (2003)

Watching a Christopher Guest movie is like hanging out with old friends. It's fun to see the same actors take on different roles in each movie, similar to a Paul Thomas Anderson film. While Waiting For Guffman and Best In Show were funnier films (in my opinion), Mighty Wind was still entertaining. Showcased the amazing singing ability of the entire cast.

Julie & Julia (2009)

I enjoyed Julia's side of the story much more than Julie's, who I found to be a bit grating at times. As a food lover myself, I loved seeing an entire film revolve around cooking. Don't see this film on an empty stomach. The love story between Paul and Julia felt authentic—who could resist Stanley Tucci?

I watched most of the extras on the Blu-Ray as well, which were informative, yet a bit long-winded. Meryl certainly was deserving of the Oscar. She's quite brilliant in her roll.

Wreck-It Ralph (2012)

A fun homage to Tron and old school video games in general. Only the hardiest nerds will catch all the references. I could have done without that terrible Rhianna song midway through, but other than that, it was lighthearted fun.

Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby (2006)

Like Anchorman, there are some hilarious scenes and jokes that will
leave you rolling, but overall, it's an average comedy.

Role Models (2008)

What can I say? If you loved Superbad, Knocked Up, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, 40 Year Old Virgin, and all the others, like I did, you will love Role Models. It's great writing and really funny, if you enjoy off color jokes and crude, yet witty humor. I laughed almost continuously throughout the entire film, and so did the rest of the
theater. Even funnier than I thought it would be.

Paul (2010)

The previews for this didn’t win me over, however the film itself was much better than I was led to believe. I only wish I’d avoided the previews so they couldn’t ruin several perfectly good jokes. I liked that this was an action, road-trip buddy comedy. The writing was witty for the most part and the supporting characters did a good job. Seth Rogan’s voice was put to better use here than in Monsters Vs. Aliens.
