The Secret Lives Of Dentists (2002)

Two married dentists with 3 little girls. It's moody, odd, funny, and a bit dark. Dennis Leary does a good job.

Jurassic World Dominion (2022)

Movies like this are made to be seen in the theater. Dinosaur fights and chases are in your face and felt in your bones. Fun to see a world slowly adapting to life with dinosaurs. Often felt like an Indiana Jones throwback–a compliment.

Music And Lyrics (2007)

I like the idea of a washed-up has-been getting a second chance, however I wasn't feeling the magic in the romance department. Parts were cute, but overall, it was poorly written and moderately acted. Barrymore's character was highly annoying at times, with her pen clicking and constant mess making.

Saint Ralph (2004)

A Canadian indie about going after the impossible dream - in this case, a 14 year old boy winning the Boston Marathon. Campbell Scott is great here as the mentoring priest. The movie is lighthearted at times, but nothing to write home about.

Roger Dodger (2002)

A ladies man uncle takes his 16 year old nephew under his wing for a night in New York with the intent of teaching him the ways of bedding a lady. Lots of funny, content heavy dialogue back and forth. There are some underlying themese at play, and although it's not a perfect film, it did impress me.

The Amazing Spider-Man (2012)

Right off the bat it was very Dawson’s Creek. Full of teen angst, bullies, students that look in their 20’s, and clichéd scenarios that only take place in make-believe high schools you see in the movies. I thought if they were going to reimagine Spider-Man so soon, they might try to improve upon the last one. The bar wasn’t exactly set very high.

The story unfolds in a very predictable and contrived path, full of happenstance and coincidence. The newest Mickey Mouse Club Peter Parker is as annoying as he is bland. A pointless, ridiculous, and unnecessary remake.
