The Incredible Hulk (2008)

Like the first Iron Man, Hulk started out strong. There were some decent story developments and exotic set locations. I particularly enjoyed the opening in Brazil, where I could understand what was being said in Portuguese. But like Iron Man, Hulk jumped on the formulaic bandwagon, which brought us to a showdown of an evil Hulk vs. good Hulk. Classic screenplay cop-out.

16 Blocks (2006)

A decent bad cops vs 1 good cop action/drama with a nice acting turn
by Mos Def, although I never did get used to that obnoxious accent he
was using. I like seeing Bruce taking roles where he's acting his age or even older. (another example: Sin City) It goes against most other leading men in Hollywood who insist on pretending they are 20 years younger. (I'm looking at you Harrison Ford in Firewall)

Diary of the Dead (2007)

Very weak as far as zombie movies go. The plot was dumb and so were the characters. They went beyond the call of duty when it came to making asinine choices. There was no depth or feeling in the script. Just a bunch of nameless actors going through the motions.
