Redbelt (2008)

I wasn't sure what to expect from a David Mamet fight film. Or maybe I did, since there was plenty of drama, emphasis on characters, and everything felt like it could be acted out on a stage. Not sure I bought the ending.

Accident Man (2018)

A sliver above a B action movie. Enough plot to barely justify a series of ass kickings. I became numb to the violence after a few kills.

In Good Company (2004)

Loved it. Paul Weitz hits it out of the park again after About A Boy. Great casting. Credible actors. Witty dialogue. Good drama. Laugh out loud comedy. Emotion. The soundtrack is phenomenal.

Drag Me To Hell (2009)

Not exactly breaking new ground, but at least it's a decent renovation. I'll admit to screaming like a girl a few times and partially obstructing my eyes with my hands. Not sure why they even bothered with the "twist" at the end when it was so blatantly obvious.

Night Of The Creeps (1986)

It's scary how bad 80's movies were back in the day. However, they can often be entertaining in a nostalgic sort of way. The dialogue in Creeps is mostly terrible, but there are moments. I've seen dozen films that have directly stolen ideas from this movie. It's basically an 80's romance blended with a zombie flick. The results are mixed.

The Five-Year Engagement (2012)

A familiar cast that we all know and love. Full of funny lines and situations. It’s not going to win any awards, but you will be well entertained. I can’t get enough Emily Blunt.

Alex & Emma (2003)

I saw this one with the family, since my mom and sister really wanted to see it. I have to admit, it was enjoyable. Witty and funny.
