Brawl In Cell Block 99 (2017)

After an initial story arc, things get pretty dark, violent, and depressing quickly. On the list of things I fear, going to prison rates high on that list. This movie didn’t help.

Faster (2010)

It’s been ages since I saw Billy Bob in a role where he wasn’t playing a greasy deadbeat. I guess he’s through with acting. Faster sets the bar really low for revenge flicks. The barely there plot is an afterthought. The Rock is a one-act set piece that can be adequate given the right material. He didn’t shine in Faster.

White Chicks (2004)

Sometimes you're just in the mood for a dumb movie. White Chicks fits the bill. The plot is outright ridiculous, but it's hard to turn away from the Wayans looking like Casper The Ghost's sisters.
