Storks (2016)

Geared mostly toward kids, but with a few laughs for adults. I dozed off a couple times while watching with my nieces and nephews.

Freaks Of Nature (2015)

A fun mishmash of zombies, vampires, humans, and aliens. Smarter than I thought it was going to be. And funny too. A good balance between cartoonish violence and character development. Surprisingly good.

Pitch Perfect 2 (2015)

Epic failure. The movie was so desperate to be funny, but of course wasn’t. While the first was based on a book with fleshed out characters and a solid storyline, the sequel hoped that propping up those same characters would make magic strike twice. It didn’t. The only thing that made the movie somewhat bearable was Keegan-Michael Key.

Let’s Be Cops (2014)

Largely sloppy writing reminiscent of a mediocre sitcom, minus the laugh track. A tragic case of writers believing they are funnier than they really are. It’s rampant in Hollywood.
