Kon-Tiki (2012)

A dramatized story of a Norwegian raft expedition from Peru to French Polynesia. The film is beautifully shot and well edited. Fans of survival stories, like myself, will surely enjoy it.

The Way Back (2010)

What an ambitious film. I’d really like to find out how much of this story is true, because this is one heck of a tale. Very well told. Nice pacing from the gulag to the escape south. Loved the scenery and changing landscapes. The viewer really feels like part of the group and suffers right along with them. A very big production for such a small film. Don’t miss it on Blu-Ray.
