Collateral Damage (2002)

I'm always up for a Schwarzenegger action movie because I know exactly what I'll be getting. It won't be great, but it won't be bad either. (unless it's End of Days) This one was pretty decent. The plot was semi-realistic and the action included lots of explosions and deaths.

Blood Father (2016)

Reminiscent of past Gibson films, with a splash of Taken. Gritty and violent. Not sure why they never bothered to ditch her cell phone.

Human Nature (2001)

I had high hopes for this because of the involvement of Charlie Kauffman and Spike Jonze. Just like Adaptation and Being John Malkovich, the story is completely out there. A super hairy girl desires to live in the woods where she feels accepted. A boy raised in the woods by his apelike father is captured and forced to learn the ways of man. Too bad this interesting setup never went anywhere.

Things You Can Tell Just By Looking At Her (1999)

This is the girl movie to end all girl movies. Just look at the cover. it's got like 6 girls on it. I watched with my sister and her husband. Sort of an intertwining stories movie, with plenty of strong female roles to go around. Not bad, but not great either. Calista Flockhart needs to locate her boobs.

Panic (2000)

This was a Sundance film I couldn't get into see, so I was happy to catch it on DVD. I liked it, although I didn't think it was great.

El Diablo (1990)

This was an HBO production of the western/action/comedy genre. It was pretty clever and funny throughout the entire film, although it took 15 minutes to get going. I'd say it's worth the rental.
