Don’t watch with your mom. This is some violent stuff. On par with the first Purge.

Alien: Covenant (2017)
The origin story continues with a dark installment full of unlucky space travelers. Faces are eaten. Few survive.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016)
This felt like a movie conceived for the already converted Harry Potter fanatics. I am anything but that. To me it was another superhero movie, but with magic. If your mind is still soft and undeveloped, you may be entertained by the smoke and mirrors. I found very little of substance beneath the surface outside of a few cute ideas.

Away We Go (2009)
I liked the movie, but it sometimes felt a bit forced, like someone trying to mimic Zach Braff. Still, it's an interesting portrayal of a couple trying to find themselves. Some fun supporting characters along the way, especially Allison Janney.
