French and Indian cultures collide in this delightful film about food, family, and love. Another gem from Lasse Hallström. Best film of the year candidate.

Filmed in England, it tells the story of a family comprised of a Pakistani husband who married an English wife, and their 7 boys and one girl.

I like culture clash movies; makes me feel like I'm learning about other parts as the world as I'm entertained. I really enjoyed it and thought it was well done.
