The Informant! (2009)

Interesting and well made, but ultimately not very fulfilling. The subject matter just wasn't very exciting, no matter how many liberties the screenwriter took with the source material.

Waitress (2007)

Quirky and pleasant. Jeremy Sisto plays the perfect a-hole husband. Keri Russell is adorable in the lead role. Who doesn't love Cheryl Hines? Nathan Fillion will make you long for another season of Firefly. (but you won't get it) And finally, Andy Griffith is lovable as the grouchy Old Joe. A very character driven film that delivers.

Bruce Almighty (2003)

A half-decent script spoiled again by the overacting style of Jim Carey. He's unable to separate normal roles from over-the- top ones. He attempts to vamp up every scene where no vamping is required. I don't think he can help it.

The Punisher (2004)

Plenty of creative violence to satisfy the most bloodthirsty viewer. Above average as far as these types of films go. If you need an action fix, this one will do the trick.

Ocean's Eleven (2001)

I've seen this twice and loved it both times. It's about as good as a heist movie gets. Sodenburgh and the entire cast are perfect. Pure fun.
