Teen relationship movie. The main character was interesting, but the movie was just average.

Kill The Messenger (2014)
Heavy drama based on the story of the CIAs involvement with the drug trade and Nicaraguan Contras. Renner does a fine job as usual. It’s a satisfactory project, but nothing that will get your heart pumping.

10 Cloverfield Lane (2016)
Takes place in the Cloverfield universe that JJ Abrams has created, but definitely a standalone film as well. Plenty of suspense and thrills to keep me on the hook. Enjoyed it more than I thought I would.

Sky High (2005)
A creative take on the age old high school formula movie, but with
superheros. It's funny and fun for the whole family.

Live Free Or Die Hard (2007)
For an ancient franchise about an ancient cop, this version holds up
pretty well. The plot is ok, if you don't focus too hard. Plenty of good action
sequences to keep the heart pounding, and the comic relief ain't bad
either. Enjoyed the cameo by Kevin Smith as the nerd hacking master.

Death Proof (2007)
Tarantino brings us another set of kick-ass girls in his highway to hell tribute to Grindhouse. I'll go on record now as saying this is not his best work, however it's still a great ride.

A Good Day To Die Hard (2013)
No surprises here. There’s a never-ending car chase which causes millions in damage and likely dozens of lives. You know, the type that has never happened in the history of human kind and never will, because it’s logistically impossible. The two McClain’s survive injuries that would put down a superhero. It’s an 80’s action flick with today’s technology and budget.

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010)
Like nothing you've seen before. It's hip, funny, quirky, and a bit juvenile. Video games infiltrate every part of the production. I really liked the characters and their quick witted interactions.A miss for me was the focus of the entire film—Scott fighting the 7 evil ex's. If I want to see cartoonish fights, I can watch schlock like Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. Still, it was refreshing to see something different brought to screen.

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (2012)
Felt like the kind of vampire movie the team behind Ghost Rider might make. In case you’re a moron, that’s a bad thing. I’ve had a better time watching an episode of True Blood.
