The Equalizer 3 (2023)

 

Another decent installment in the Equalizer series. Always satisfying to see the untouchable bad guys get touched by justice, usually in a bloody, violent way.

Ford v Ferrari (2019)

You don’t have to be a fan of car racing to enjoy this film. I’m certainly not. The challenge will be not driving like a mad man on the way home from the theater.

Heaven (2002)

Another fantastic film by the director behind Run Lola Run and The Princess and the Warrior. He's quickly becoming a director of films I refuse to miss. Everything behind the camera was perfect. Everything in front was equally perfect. When Cate Blanchett and Giovanni Ribisi are given good material, they do amazing work. This is a must see. The story is simple, but what they do with it is not.
