Soaked In Bleach (2015)

An exhaustive documentary about Kurt Cobain’s murder and how the case was mishandled by the Seattle police department. It’s difficult and frustrating to watch, just as it would be to watch any movie where the smug villain gets away with murder. That villain is of course Courtney Love. One can only hope that someday, somehow, justice will be served.

Cobain: Montage Of Heck (2015)

An impressive compilation of media about Kurt Cobain arranged in a fantastic manner. His story from birth to death with the blessing, and a producing credit, of his daughter Frances. A must for any fan of music, especially those into Nirvana.

Sid & Nancy (1986)

A testament to how one can appreciate a band’s music, but think the musicians are a bunch of morons. Gary Oldman and Chloe Webb manage to capture what I imagine to be the disgusting nature of the real life relationship this film is about. Could there be two more obnoxious, ignorant, and useless people on the planet? Come to think of it, I didn’t like any of the characters in this movie. It’s a shame punk music is made by a bunch of a-holes.
