John Lurie goes fishing with various famous people in strange and
exotic places. There are like 6 episodes on the DVD, and I guarantee
you've never seen a fishing show like this one. Just plain odd.
The humor is very subtle sometimes, and the average viewer might be
bored, but I enjoyed them. Famous guests included Dennis Hopper, Matt Dillon, William Dafoe, and
more.

Crash (2004)
Great mixture of mini race-related stories and characters that provoke much needed thought and introspection on the subject. The link between these stories is highly improbable, but that won't prevent you from enjoying the film.
Reminded me a lot of Magnolia in it's style and direction. Magnolia was a much better film however.

Armored (2009)
A very bland set up leading to the action. The artificial banter and “comedy relief” were weak. There was no discussion as to what would be done with the money after the job. It’s not like you can suddenly pay off your mortgage and buy a fancy car. It didn’t feel realistic. The action, once it started, was pretty good. There are much better armored car movies out there though.

Takers (2010)
For a heist flick with mostly B actors, this was surprisingly good. Lots of action, including a fantastic foot chase scene. Plot held together ok. Acting was decent. It’s the low brow version of The Town.
