Wallace and Gromit style animation is used to tell the tale of chickens escaping from their concentration camp poultry farm. Some fun references to The Great Escape, Cool Hand Luke, and other classic films. Plucky British humor is hit or miss.

Edge Of Darkness (2010)
I had to see Mel Gibson's return to the screen after 8 years, even if it was a by-the-book revenge flick. Mel's acting was solid. Script was ok. Violence and action were so-so. No real surprises here.

Blood Father (2016)
Reminiscent of past Gibson films, with a splash of Taken. Gritty and violent. Not sure why they never bothered to ditch her cell phone.

We Were Soldiers (2002)
Just as graphic, if not more so, than
Saving Private Ryan. Very effective film. Nice to see them attempting to show both sides
of the war for a change.

Get The Gringo (2012)
A meandering South of the Border crime caper featuring a cranky Mel Gibson. Nada especial.
