Planet of the Apes (2001)

One of the big disappointments of the year. There were so many possibilities for a better plot. So many creative ideas that they only touched on. The special effects, sound, costumes, etc were all great, but they just didn't use them to their best potential. Things could have been developed so much more.

The biggest letdown was the ending. I won't give it away, but not only did it not make sense, it was extremely anti-clamatic.
