28 Years Later: The Bone Temple (2026)

The set-up at the end of 28 Years Later had us all buzzing. Little Spike joins a post-apocalyptic gang of professional zombie killers. It was quite disappointing that they turned out to be a bunch of flesh skinning Satanists. Hopefully the 3rd installment of this trilogy turns out to be a better ride.

The Wrecking Crew (2026)

Hawaiian brothers Godzilla their way through Oahu, obliterating the bad guys in their path. A bunch of innocent bystanders also get 86'd, but somehow they are never called in to be questioned.

It’s a check-your-brain-at-the-door carnage film for a Friday night at home.

Rental Family (2025)

This film made me very homesick for Japan. A single scene can bring back a hundred little memories of life there. It was beautifully shot and directed. The story was emotional and relatable. It’s nice to see Brendan Fraser in these mature roles after starting his career in mostly silly stuff.

Dust Bunny (2025)

This didn’t come together for me as a fantasy or a hitman thriller. The story seems to take place in an alternate reality, yet attempts to be taken seriously. They needed to pick a lane.
