All The Money In The World (2017)

On paper it’s a kidnapping negotiation film, but my takeaways all had to do with wealth. When you have more money than you know what to do with, what motivates you to keep earning more? What do you do with it while you are alive? What do you want done with it after you pass? How will you be remembered?

These are questions I thought about while watching a well crafted period piece on location in Italy. I saw parallels between Getty’s character and how I imagine Donald Trump’s ending will be--although I hope his will be much sadder.
