Let's say you're watching an episode of 24, where several dirty bombs go off in L.A. But instead of continuing with the show, the story shifts to the point of view of a married couple, chosen at random.
However, the budget's been cut in half and the action dial has been turned down to a mild 2 instead of 10.
It's an interesting perspective, but somehow you find yourself wanting a bit more blood and guts at ground zero.
Right At Your Door delivers a mega dose of drama which I couldn't help thinking would work better on stage. Maybe the script originated as a play. I'm not sure. Not bad, but not great either.
