I guess I should have asked if
this was an abstract art-house film before I pressed play. Aimless and
ambiguous. A series of scenes which I’ve been told are meant to represent the
filmmakers feelings on the death of film, or something like that. I don’t
really care. It’s loaded with homages to old films that 99.9% of us haven’t
seen. I kept hoping for some kind of payoff at the end. Something that might
tie everything together. My hope was in vain.
